These Terms of Service govern your use of Bar Beauty Medical’s website at barbeauty.ca, our online booking, and our in-clinic services at 46 Fort York Blvd, Toronto. By visiting our site or attending an appointment, you agree to these terms.
About Bar Beauty Medical
Bar Beauty Medical is a registered medical aesthetics clinic in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. All injectable, laser, and energy-based treatments are performed by licensed nurses, physicians, or laser technicians certified by the appropriate Ontario regulatory body. Our medical director and nursing staff are members in good standing of the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario and the College of Nurses of Ontario respectively.
Medical aesthetics treatments — informed consent
Every patient receives a complimentary consultation prior to first-time treatment. During consultation we discuss expected outcomes, risks, contraindications, recovery, and pricing. Written informed consent is required before any injectable, laser, microneedling, or thread treatment. We reserve the right to decline service if a patient is not a suitable candidate, or if mandatory consent is not provided.
Booking, deposits, and cancellation
Appointments are booked via our online portal at barbeautymedical.janeapp.com. A credit card on file is required to secure your booking. Cancellations made more than 24 hours before your appointment are free of charge. Cancellations within 24 hours, or no-shows, may incur a fee equal to 50% of the booked treatment, charged to the card on file.
Pricing and payment
Pricing is published on our website at /price-list/ and synced live from our practice management system. Prices are in Canadian dollars and exclude HST unless explicitly stated. We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, debit, and Apple Pay. Some treatments may be eligible for partial coverage under your private insurance — we provide receipts on request but do not bill insurance directly.
Photography and consent for marketing use
We may take before-and-after photographs of treatment areas as part of your medical record. Photographs are stored securely and are not used for marketing or social media without your separate written consent. Marketing-use consent is optional and never required for treatment.
Online shop and product returns
Skincare products purchased through our online shop ship within 2 business days from Toronto. Unopened products may be returned within 14 days for a full refund. Opened products are non-refundable for hygiene reasons unless defective. Defective products are replaced at no charge.
Newsletter and marketing communications
You may opt in to our skincare newsletter at any time. We send no more than two emails per month and you can unsubscribe with one click. We do not sell, rent, or share your email address with third parties.
Intellectual property
All content on barbeauty.ca — text, images, video, design — is the property of Bar Beauty Medical or licensed for our use. You may not reproduce or republish substantive portions of our content without prior written permission. Linking to our pages is welcome.
Disclaimer of medical results
Individual results from medical aesthetics treatments vary based on skin type, age, lifestyle, and other clinical factors. We provide honest expectations at consultation. Before-and-after photos shown on our website depict actual Bar Beauty patients and have not been digitally altered, but represent typical rather than guaranteed outcomes.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by Ontario law, Bar Beauty Medical’s total liability for any claim arising from your use of our services or website is limited to the amount paid by you for the specific treatment giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or speculative damages.
Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with a revised “last updated” date. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
