Thread lifts in Toronto, a lift without surgery

A thread lift uses dissolvable sutures to reposition and support soft tissue that has started to descend, restoring definition along the jaw, neck, and brow without an operation or general anesthetic. We use Aptos threads, a well established system, and every plan is consultation led and matched to your anatomy and the lift you genuinely need. Threads are not a facelift replacement for everyone, and we will tell you plainly when surgery or a different approach would serve you better.

What thread lifts actually do

Two things happen with a thread lift. First, the threads mechanically lift and hold tissue in a better position. Second, as the threads dissolve over the following months, they stimulate your own collagen along their path, which adds gradual firmness. The result is a refreshed, lifted look that is noticeable but still natural, with most of the downtime measured in days, not weeks.

The lifts we offer

Our Aptos thread lift targets the mid and lower face, the full face lift uses the Aptos approach for a more comprehensive result, and the neck lift addresses laxity and banding under the jaw. Brow and Nefertiti style lifts refine the upper face and jawline. Which one suits you depends on where your laxity actually is, which we assess in person.

Who is a good candidate

Thread lifts work best for mild to moderate laxity, typically in people in their late thirties through fifties who want definition back without surgery. If your skin is very lax or heavy, threads alone will underwhelm, and we will say so. Threads also pair well with biostimulators and energy treatments that improve skin quality, so the lift sits on healthier tissue.

Recovery and how long it lasts

Expect some tenderness, mild swelling, and occasional bruising for a few days, with a feeling of tightness that settles over a week or two. Results commonly last around twelve to eighteen months, longer with the collagen that builds along the threads, and the treatment can be repeated.

What thread lifts cost

Thread lifts are quoted per treatment based on the number of threads and the area. Consultations are free and come with an honest assessment of whether threads are right for you. The full, live menu is on our price list, and treatments are performed under medical director Dr. John David Henneberry-Fudge, MD FRCPC.

Thread lift FAQ

Is a thread lift the same as a facelift?

No. A surgical facelift removes and repositions tissue for a larger, longer lasting change. A thread lift is a less invasive refresh for mild to moderate laxity, with much shorter recovery.

How long do thread lifts last?

Usually around twelve to eighteen months. The collagen your body builds along the threads extends the benefit beyond the threads themselves.

Is it painful?

We use local anesthetic, so the procedure is comfortable. Afterward you can expect mild tenderness and tightness for a few days.

Can threads be combined with other treatments?

Yes. Threads pair well with biostimulators and skin tightening so the lift sits on firmer, healthier tissue.
