Treatment: Chemical Peel Facial (noon 30)
Time: 45 minutes
Price: $240

The Noon Aesthetics G-Peel 30 in Toronto is a nanoconstructed thixotropic gel chemical peel that delivers precise, deeper exfoliation than traditional peels while remaining safe for skin tones up to Fitzpatrick V. The “thixotropic” gel formulation flows easily under brush application but holds shape once placed — allowing uniform penetration without the streaking or pooling that affects traditional liquid peel application. At Bar Beauty in downtown Toronto this is our deeper chemical peel option for hyperpigmentation, post-acne textural change, fine lines, and dullness. 2026 pricing is $240 per single session and $1,095 for a series of 5 (one free).

What the G-Peel 30 actually does

Noon Aesthetics is an Israeli professional skincare company that pioneered the “nanoconstructed” peel — peel ingredients formulated as nano-scale particles delivered in a thixotropic gel carrier. The clinical advantages over traditional liquid peels are threefold: more uniform application without streaking, controlled depth penetration that reduces frosting risk, and acid blends that target multiple pathways simultaneously (exfoliation, pigment inhibition, anti-inflammatory). The G-Peel 30 specifically combines pyruvic acid, lactic acid, and several supportive actives at a clinically active concentration. The result is a peel that delivers deeper exfoliation than the surface acid peels but with substantially less downtime than a true medium-depth TCA peel.

What is included in the 45-minute session

  1. Consultation and skin assessment (5 minutes). Confirm appropriate skin status and pre-peel preparation.
  2. Double cleanse (5 minutes). Oil cleanser followed by gel cleanser to remove all surface oil and product.
  3. Peel application (10 to 15 minutes). G-Peel 30 brushed evenly across the treatment zone. Mild stinging is expected. The peel is left to work for 5 to 10 minutes depending on skin tolerance.
  4. Neutralization (5 minutes). Wipe-off and pH-balancing serum.
  5. Calming and hydration (5 minutes). Calming mask or serum to reduce post-peel inflammation.
  6. SPF 50 finish. Mandatory before leaving the clinic.

How Noon 30 pricing compares in Toronto

The 2026 Toronto market for branded professional chemical peels (Noon, ZO, Obagi, SkinMedica) ranges from $195 to $395 per session. We sit at $240 mid-market. Series of 5 with one free brings effective per-session pricing to $219.

Five real patients we treated in 2025 and 2026

Patient example 1: Priya, 36, Mississauga — post-acne PIH on Fitzpatrick V skin

Priya had moderate post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation across the cheeks. We treated with a series of 5 G-Peel 30 ($1,095) at 6-week intervals paired with topical azelaic acid and daily SPF. By session 5 her PIH had visibly faded. Total spend: $1,095.

Patient example 2: Sarah, 44, Etobicoke — sun damage and dullness

Sarah had years of sun damage producing dullness and tone unevenness. Series of 5 G-Peel 30 ($1,095) with LED add-on at every session (+$200). By session 5 her skin tone was visibly even and luminosity had returned. Total spend: $1,295.

Patient example 3: Marcus, 32, Vaughan — acne scarring textural change

Marcus had post-acne textural change. Series of 5 G-Peel 30 ($1,095) over 6 months, then transitioned to Morpheus 8 course of 3 for the residual scarring. Peel addressed the surface; Morpheus 8 addressed the deeper texture. Total peel spend: $1,095.

Patient example 4: Linda, 52, North York — melasma maintenance

Linda had hormonally driven melasma. Series of 5 G-Peel 30 ($1,095) with tranexamic acid serum at home. Melasma visibly lighter at session 5 with strict SPF compliance. Total spend: $1,095. Maintained with quarterly singles.

Patient example 5: David, 41, downtown — male client, fine lines and tone

David wanted improved skin tone and fine line softening. Series of 5 G-Peel 30 ($1,095) with dermaplaning pre-peel at sessions 1, 3, and 5 (+$180). Total spend: $1,275.

Noon 30 vs other chemical peels — how we decide

When we choose Noon G-Peel 30

Default for patients wanting deeper exfoliation than enzyme or low-strength acid can deliver, without the downtime of a true medium-depth peel. Best for hyperpigmentation, post-acne change, fine lines, dullness, and overall tone evening.

When we choose a glycolic or lactic peel

For first-time peel patients, sensitive skin, or maintenance between G-Peel sessions.

When we choose Aerolase laser instead

For pigment in darker skin tones (Fitzpatrick V to VI) where any peel carries higher PIH risk, or for patients wanting zero downtime.

When we choose a TCA peel

For deeper textural change or significant photodamage in lighter skin tones. TCA has substantial downtime (5 to 10 days) and is not appropriate for darker skin.

2025 to 2026 evolution — what changed in our peel protocol

1. Pre-peel skin preparation now mandatory

Patients are placed on a 2-week pre-peel regimen including SPF 50, gentle exfoliation, and barrier-supporting moisturizer before the first peel.

2. Series of 5 with one free replaced series of 6

Better patient compliance.

3. Aerolase laser add-on for darker skin

Combination protocols pairing G-Peel with Aerolase at sessions 2 and 4 are now standard for Fitzpatrick V patients to manage PIH risk while achieving tone correction.

4. Tranexamic acid pairing for melasma

Topical tranexamic acid is now part of every melasma peel protocol.

5. Extended interval for maintenance

Maintenance singles every 10 to 12 weeks (down from every 6 to 8 in 2024).

Red flags — when to walk out of a chemical peel consultation

  • No pre-peel skin prep recommended. Unprepared skin increases inflammation and PIH risk.
  • “Frost” promised as a marker of effective peel. Modern peels including G-Peel 30 do not require visible frost to deliver clinical effect.
  • Peel applied without neutralization step. Some modern peels are self-neutralizing but most professional protocols include a neutralization pass.
  • Practitioner cannot explain the acid ingredients in the peel. A trained peel practitioner knows what they are applying.
  • SPF protocol skipped at end. Post-peel skin is highly photosensitive; SPF is mandatory.
  • Peel performed on actively inflamed or broken skin. Defer to next session.
  • Peel performed on patient currently on isotretinoin (Accutane). Wait 6 to 12 months after stopping isotretinoin before peels.

Add-on stacking

Adding Aerolase, LED, and dermaplaning to one peel session climbs from $240 to $540.

Maintenance over 12 months

Initial series plus 3 to 4 maintenance singles per year runs approximately $1,800 to $2,200.

Beautifi financing

Series of 5 ($1,095) can be split into 6 monthly payments — about $195 per month at 6 months.

Combining G-Peel 30 with other treatments

With Aerolase Custom Facial

Alternate sessions every 3 to 4 weeks for compound tone and texture improvement.

With Morpheus 8

Different sessions and different weeks. Allow at least 4 weeks between G-Peel and Morpheus 8 to avoid over-treatment.

With Botox or filler

Schedule peel at least 7 to 10 days before or after injectables.

With Custom Facial

Same-day combination is the most common pairing — 75 minute combined session.

What G-Peel 30 will not do

  • Eliminate deep ice pick or boxcar acne scars. Those need Morpheus 8, subcision, or fractional resurfacing.
  • Lift sagging skin.
  • Permanently eliminate melasma. Melasma can return; maintenance and SPF are key.
  • Substitute for daily SPF.
  • Be appropriate for very thin or compromised skin barriers.

The thixotropic gel science — why this peel formulation matters

Thixotropic substances change viscosity in response to applied stress. The G-Peel 30 gel is a viscous gel at rest but thins to a flowable consistency under brush application. The peel can be applied evenly across the treatment zone without streaking or pooling. Once application stops, the gel returns to a higher viscosity and stays put for the dwell time — preventing the drift, dripping, and uneven dwell that affect traditional liquid peels. The “nanoconstructed” qualifier refers to the size of the active particles in the gel: small enough to penetrate the stratum corneum more efficiently than traditional formulations, allowing similar clinical effect at lower acid concentrations and therefore less inflammation and downtime.

Pre-peel and post-peel home regimens in detail

2 weeks before

Daily SPF 50, gentle non-foaming cleanser, niacinamide serum, ceramide moisturizer. No retinoids, no AHA/BHA, no scrubs, no wax, no laser. Hydroquinone or tranexamic acid may be prescribed in patients with melasma or PIH.

Day 8 onward

Resume normal regimen except active acids and retinoids for 14 days post-peel.

The Noon Aesthetics professional line — additional context

Noon Aesthetics is a closed-system professional skincare brand from Israel, founded on the concept of “smart” peels — peel formulations that combine acid exfoliation with anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, and pigment-inhibition pathways simultaneously. The G-Peel 30 sits in the middle of the Noon peel range: deeper than the G-Peel 15 (entry-level peel) and gentler than the G-Peel 50 (advanced peel). Most patients begin with the G-Peel 30 series because it offers a meaningful clinical effect without the extended downtime of the deeper G-Peel 50. We carry the full Noon home-care line for patients who want to maintain peel results between sessions — pre-peel preparation kits, post-peel recovery kits, and daily maintenance serums targeted to specific indications.

Combining the G-Peel 30 with other Noon products

Noon offers several “ampoule” treatments that can be layered into a peel session for compound effect. Examples include Niveau De Blanc for pigment, RestArt for sensitivity and rosacea, and Acno Tox for acne. These ampoules can be applied immediately post-peel during the calming phase. The cost per ampoule typically adds $40 to $80 to the session. We do not require these add-ons but find that targeted ampoule layering can accelerate outcomes for specific indications.

What “down time” really means for our peel patients

Patients often imagine peel downtime as a week of being unable to leave the house. The reality of the G-Peel 30 is more nuanced. Day 0 to day 1 the skin looks slightly pink but completely presentable; many patients book the peel during lunch and return to work. Days 2 to 4 the skin develops light flaking that is most noticeable around the chin and nose. Most patients describe this as “looking dry” rather than “looking like I had a peel.” Mineral SPF and a touch of light makeup cover most of the flaking. Days 5 to 7 the flaking resolves and the new skin underneath looks visibly brighter. The realistic answer to “can I work from the office during peel recovery” is yes for office work and most professional contexts, no for high-visibility client-facing roles where flaking would be conspicuous. Many patients time peel sessions before weekends or quiet workweeks for comfort rather than necessity.
