Bar Beauty Medical is one clinic at 46 Fort York Blvd, in CityPlace, between Bathurst and Spadina and a block north of Lake Shore Boulevard West. From the middle of Richmond Hill that is roughly 30 km. The distance is the easy part. The part worth reading is that the four sensible ways of covering it behave very differently, and one of them stops being useful entirely depending on what time your appointment is.
Richmond Hill to our CityPlace clinic is about 30 km. Off peak the drive is 40 to 55 minutes down Highway 404 and the Don Valley Parkway. The GO Richmond Hill line beats that comfortably, but it is a weekday peak-direction service, and that single fact decides most Richmond Hill bookings.

The 404 and the Don Valley Parkway
Highway 404 becomes the Don Valley Parkway at the 401, and the DVP feeds the Gardiner Expressway. Westbound on the Gardiner, come off at Rees Street or Spadina Avenue and you are three minutes from the door. The thing Richmond Hill drivers usually get wrong is where the delay lives. It is not the 404. It is the DVP, and it is directional, so a mid-morning appointment costs you far less time than a four o’clock one. Highway 407 is the paid alternative and it moves, but it puts you back on the 404 or the 427 anyway, so on a downtown trip it buys less than people expect.
We have two free spots at the clinic, first come first served, so they are very limited. If both are taken, there is public parking beside the Sobeys at Fort York Blvd and Telegram Mews, a public lot that is not ours, so we do not validate it and rates are set by the operator. There is also street parking in the area.
The GO Richmond Hill line runs one direction at a time
The Richmond Hill line comes down the Don Valley from Bloomington, Gormley, Richmond Hill, Langstaff, Old Cummer and Oriole into Union Station. It is a weekday, peak-period, peak-direction service. Southbound in the morning, northbound in the afternoon, nothing at midday, nothing at the weekend. That pattern is the one thing that decides whether the train is any use to you. A nine thirty appointment is perfect for it. A one o’clock appointment means the train brings you down and will not take you home.
From Union, the 509 Harbourfront streetcar runs west along Queens Quay and turns up towards Fort York Blvd. Ten minutes, one vehicle, no stairs at either end.
Viva Blue and Line 1
Viva Blue runs the length of Yonge Street through Richmond Hill down to Finch Station, where Line 1 carries on to Union without a transfer. It is the slowest of the four routes and the most predictable, because none of it depends on an expressway. York Region Transit and the TTC are separate fare systems and PRESTO handles the connection between them. Plan on the better part of an hour and a half door to door, and treat it as the wet-February option rather than the default.
What Richmond Hill actually asks for
The search demand reaching this page from Richmond Hill is weighted towards skin rather than volume, which is not true of every part of the GTA. Over the three months to 19 August 2026 it led with microneedling, then Botox, then dermal and lip filler, then platelet-rich plasma facial work, then rosacea and chemical peels. That is why the list below opens with lasers and needles rather than syringes.
- Microneedling. SkinPen at $400, or ProCell microchannelling at $350. Adding exosomes or PDRN changes the appointment and the price; the current figures are on the price list.
- Rosacea and facial redness. This is Aerolase Neo Elite work at 1064 nm. NeoSkin is $300 for a half face, $450 for a full face and $600 for face and neck. Redness responds over a short series rather than in one visit, and nobody should promise you clearance of a relapsing condition.
- Botox. $10 a unit, quoted by units rather than by area. Dysport and Nuceiva are quoted at the consult instead, because units are not interchangeable between toxin brands and a per-unit figure would mislead you.
- Lip filler. $750 for a full syringe, $500 for the half-syringe Signature Mini Lip Plump. Our lip work runs on Revanesse.
- PRP. $600 for the face. Combined with microneedling it is $700.
What the drive home does to your aftercare
A 30 km trip changes the aftercare conversation, and most clinics never have it with you. After toxin you should stay upright for the first few hours, which a drive does anyway but a reclined passenger seat does not. After lip filler you will swell, and you will swell more in a warm car than in a cool room, so bring water and keep the heat off your face. After Aerolase your skin is sun-sensitive that afternoon, and a westbound drive at five o’clock in June puts the sun directly on the left side of your face. None of that is a reason to book somewhere closer. It is a reason to pick the time of day deliberately.

Booking from out of town
Consultations are free and so is the skin analysis. Booking holds a card and charges nothing at the time. Cancelling more than 24 hours ahead costs nothing. A missed appointment is $100 to the card that held the slot. On a 30 km trip that matters more than it does for somebody walking over from Fort York, so if you are not certain yet, book the consult on its own, say when you book that you may want to treat the same day, and we will hold the room rather than the product.

No. One clinic, one address, one set of charts. That is deliberate, and it is why the medical oversight is not spread across sites.
Can I do the round trip on the GO train?
Only for a morning appointment. The Richmond Hill line brings you down in the morning and takes you back in the afternoon and does not do the reverse. For an afternoon slot, drive or take Viva Blue to Finch and Line 1 south.
Can everything happen in one visit?
Toxin and filler can share a visit. Laser and injectables in the same area on the same day usually should not, and we will tell you that rather than sell you both. Ask at the consult and you will leave with the order written down and dated.
