Teoxane at Bar Beauty Medical Toronto

We carry exactly two Teoxane products: Teosyal Redensity 1 and Teosyal Redensity 2. Not the RHA range, not Ultimate, not Ultra Deep, not Kiss. This is a short brand page because it is an honest one. It covers the manufacturer and the two Canadian licences. What each product does for you, who it suits and what it costs is on our Teosyal treatment page.

Teoxane makes a large catalogue and Bar Beauty Medical stocks two items from it. The two we stock do not even sit on the same Canadian device licence: Redensity 1 sits inside the original 2005 Teosyal family licence, while Redensity 2 was moved onto a licence of its own at the end of 2016 and has been a single-device registration ever since.

The two Teoxane products in this clinic, and the licences they sit on
Product Canadian licence What it is for, in Teoxane’s words
Teosyal PureSense Redensity 1 Listed on licence 69640, TEOSYAL, Class III, first licensed 2 November 2005. Redensity I was added on 29 August 2011 Skin redensification and prevention of the signs of ageing. Teoxane calls it a beauty booster
Teosyal PureSense Redensity 2 Its own licence, 98312, Class III, single device, first licensed 30 December 2016. Its earlier entry on 69640 ended on 20 January 2017 Designed for under-eye hollows. Teoxane calls it the first and only hyaluronic acid gel made specifically for that area

Licence numbers and dates were read from Health Canada’s public medical devices API in August 2026 and both licences were active. The third column is Teoxane’s own published design intent. It is not a Canadian indication: the Health Canada record contains no indications field, and Teoxane’s own labelling states that product indications and availability vary from country to country.

Injectable treatments at Bar Beauty Medical are performed by Jasmine Saggu, RN, Aesthetic Nurse Injector, and Shahram Mafazi, IMG, PDD, Aesthetic Medicine Expert, Trainer and Instructor, under the medical direction of Dr. John David Henneberry-Fudge, MD, FRCPC, CPSO #95972. About Teoxane

Teoxane Laboratories was founded in Geneva in 2003 by Valerie Taupin, and it is still headquartered there, at Rue de Lyon 105. Health Canada holds the company as TEOXANE SA at that Geneva address, company record 122733. The company says it now operates in more than 90 countries and reported passing 40 million syringes sold worldwide in 2025.

Its published timeline is a useful way to place the two products we use. Teosyal Ultra Deep and Teosyal Kiss arrived in 2006. The dermocosmetics arm was created in 2009. Both Redensity products launched in 2012. The RHA range, which is the part of the catalogue most people have heard of, came later, in 2015, and its United States approvals followed from 2017 onward. So the two gels in our fridge predate the range Teoxane is best known for by three years.

Teoxane products we use

Teosyal Redensity 1, the skin booster

Redensity 1 is not a filler in the way most people use the word. It does not add shape. Teoxane describes it as a beauty booster designed to improve the quality of the skin through what it calls a redensification action, and states that it helps protect skin against oxidative stress. It is placed as a series of micro-injections across an area rather than as a bolus, and Teoxane names the face, the neck and the decolletage as areas it is used on. The manufacturer’s cited evidence is a randomised controlled trial by Fanian and colleagues, published in 2017 in Aesthetic Medicine, the journal of the international union of aesthetic medicine, on the in-vivo injection of oligonutrients with high molecular weight hyaluronic acid. It is worth knowing that this is a small specialty journal rather than a major dermatology title. The product has a real mechanism and a modest evidence base, and we would rather say both.

Full detail on how we run a course is on our Redensity 1 page, and the wider category sits on skin boosters.

Teosyal Redensity 2, the under-eye gel

Redensity 2 is the reason this brand is on our shelf at all. Teoxane’s claim for it is specific: that in 2012 it became the first and only hyaluronic acid gel designed specifically for the tear trough, an area that everything else on the market was being used in rather than built for. The formulation is a semi-crosslinked gel with low water binding, which matters because under-eye skin is the thinnest on the face and a gel that draws water there produces exactly the puffiness a patient came in to fix.

Two peer-reviewed papers are cited by the manufacturer for this product and both are checkable. Berguiga and colleagues published a safety evaluation of tear trough rejuvenation with a semi-crosslinked hyaluronic acid filler in Orbit in 2017, volume 36, issue 1, pages 22 to 26. Anido and colleagues published recommendations for the treatment of tear trough deformity with cross-linked hyaluronic acid filler in the Journal of Cosmetic Dermatology in 2020. The under-eye page is here, and the concern page is tear troughs.

What Teoxane treatments cost at Bar Beauty Medical

Both products are named directly in our booking system, which is unusual on our menu. All figures are Canadian dollars, live in Jane, and the consultation is free and never charged.

Treatment What it covers Price
Skin Boosters Redensity 1 1 cc $500
Skin Boosters Redensity 1 3 ml course volume $1,200
Tear trough, under eyes Per treatment $850
Temporal Contouring Two syringes of Redensity 2 $1,100
Dissolving Filler Hyaluronidase session $150

The 3 ml Redensity 1 figure is the course volume rather than a single session, because a booster works as a series. We write the plan and the total down before anything is injected. The full live menu is on our price list.

What we deliberately do not carry from Teoxane, and why

This is the part of the page that matters most, because Teoxane’s catalogue is large and the brand name attaches to products we have never had.

We do not carry the Teosyal RHA range

RHA 1, RHA 2, RHA 3 and RHA 4 are licensed in Canada under a separate Teoxane licence, 98733, titled TEOSYAL RHA FAMILY OF FILLERS, first licensed on 2 March 2017 and still active. It is the range Teoxane markets hardest, built on what the company calls preserved network technology and positioned around facial movement. We do not stock it. Our structural and volumising work runs on Stylage and our lip work on Revanesse. If you want RHA specifically, we will tell you we do not have it rather than substitute something and let you assume.

We do not carry Teosyal Ultimate, Ultra Deep, Kiss, Global Action or Deep Lines

Licence 69640 currently lists six live trade names: PureSense Deep Lines, PureSense Global Action, PureSense Kiss, PureSense Redensity I, PureSense Ultimate and PureSense Ultra Deep. We stock exactly one of those six. The others are real, licensed products that we have chosen not to order, because their jobs are already covered by the two ranges above and we would rather stock fewer products well than carry a shelf we rarely open.

The plain-named versions of several of these, including Teosyal, Teosyal First Lines, Teosyal Kiss, Teosyal Meso, Teosyal Ultimate and Teosyal Ultra Deep, ended on the Canadian licence on 5 July 2022 and are no longer current entries. So a Toronto clinic advertising Teosyal Ultimate without the PureSense prefix is quoting a name that left the register four years ago.

The naming trap that catches people out

There are two different Teoxane products with Redensity in the name and they are not the same thing. Teosyal PureSense Redensity 1 and Redensity 2 are the 2012 PureSense products, and those are ours. RHA Redensity is a member of the later RHA family, and it received United States approval in 2021 for moderate to severe dynamic perioral lines. It is a different gel, in a different range, for a different job, and we do not have it. If you have read about RHA Redensity for lip lines and come in asking for Redensity, we will make sure we are talking about the same product before anything happens.

We do not retail the Teoxane skincare line

Teoxane also makes a dermocosmetics range, including RHA Serum, RHA Vit C Serum, Advanced Filler, Perfect Skin Refiner, UVA Shield SPF50+ and R[II] Eyes. We do not stock it. The medical-grade skincare we do carry is on the SkinCeuticals, SkinBetter Science, NOON Aesthetics and Hale Derma pages.

Why the page is this short

Most brand pages in this industry try to look comprehensive by describing the manufacturer’s entire catalogue, then quietly leaving the reader to assume the clinic stocks all of it. We carry two Teoxane products. Writing four thousand words about the RHA range, the Lip Unique Collection, the Multi Layering Technique and the Geneva academy would make this page longer and less true. So the page stops here, and the depth goes into the two products we actually put in patients.

The honest limits of both products

  • Redensity 1 does not change your shape. If you want volume, a booster is the wrong purchase. It improves hydration and texture. It does not lift, project or contour.
  • Redensity 1 is a course, not an appointment. A single session is not the treatment. If your budget only covers one, say so at the consultation and we will tell you honestly whether it is worth starting.
  • Redensity 2 does not fix dark circles caused by pigment or by thin skin showing the vessels beneath. It fills a hollow. If the shadow is pigment or vasculature rather than volume, filler makes it look worse, not better. Our page on under-eye concerns goes through the difference.
  • The under-eye is the strictest area we treat. It carries real if uncommon vascular risk. The protections are anatomy knowledge, conservative dosing, cannula technique where appropriate, and hyaluronidase on site. We turn down under-eye cases that we do not think will go well.
  • Neither product is permanent. Both are hyaluronic acid and both are reversible with hyaluronidase. Our dissolving session is $150.
  • Teoxane’s own labelling limits what anyone can claim. The company states that product indications and availability vary from country to country and that the locally approved instructions govern. A United States approval is not a Canadian one.

Frequently asked questions about Teoxane at Bar Beauty Medical

Do you carry the Teosyal RHA range?

No. We carry Teosyal Redensity 1 and Redensity 2 and nothing else from Teoxane. The RHA family sits on a separate Canadian licence, 98733, and we do not stock it. For volume and contour we use Stylage, and for lips we use Revanesse.

Questions about what each product does for you, how many sessions a Redensity 1 course runs to, and whether you are a candidate for under-eye filler are answered on the treatment page rather than here: Teosyal in Toronto, Redensity 1 and Redensity 2.

Is Redensity 2 approved in Canada?

Teosyal PureSense Redensity 2 holds its own Canadian device licence, number 98312, a Class III single-device registration first licensed on 30 December 2016 and active when we checked in August 2026. That licence proves it may lawfully be sold in Canada. It does not publish an indication, so nobody should quote a Canadian indication from it.

What is the difference between Redensity 2 and RHA Redensity?

They are different products from the same company. Teosyal PureSense Redensity 2 launched in 2012 and is designed for under-eye hollows. RHA Redensity belongs to the later RHA range and was approved in the United States in 2021 for perioral lines. We stock the first and not the second, and the similar names cause genuine confusion.

Can Redensity 2 be dissolved?

Yes. It is hyaluronic acid, so hyaluronidase breaks it down, and we keep hyaluronidase on site. Reversibility is one of the reasons we use a hyaluronic acid gel under the eye rather than a permanent material.

Who will inject me?

Injectable treatments at Bar Beauty Medical are performed by Jasmine Saggu, RN, our Aesthetic Nurse Injector, or by Shahram Mafazi, IMG, PDD, our Aesthetic Medicine Expert, Trainer and Instructor. Both work under the medical direction of Dr. John David Henneberry-Fudge, MD, FRCPC, CPSO #95972. The team is on our team page.

How do I book, and what happens if I need to cancel?

We hold your appointment with a credit card and nothing is charged when you book. Cancel or reschedule at least 24 hours before your appointment and there is no charge. If you do not show up, we charge $100 to the card, and a first missed appointment is usually forgiven and credited toward your next treatment. The consultation itself is free and there is no obligation to treat on the day.
