Careers at Bar Beauty Medical

Toronto medical aesthetics clinic at 46 Fort York Blvd.

Medically reviewed and last updated: July 20, 2026 by the Bar Beauty Medical clinical team under the medical delegation of Dr. John David Henneberry-Fudge, MD, FRCPC.

We’re a nurse-led medical aesthetics clinic at 46 Fort York Blvd in CityPlace, open seven days a week. This page is where we keep our open roles, and it’s also where we try to be straight with you about what working here is actually like before you spend time applying.

Open roles

We hire for these positions as they come up, and we keep good applications on file even when nothing is posted.

Tick whichever role fits and it will carry through to the form below. If you don’t see your role, send your resume anyway. Small clinics change shape quickly and we’d rather have you on file.

Apply

Fill in the form below and attach your resume. If you’d rather just email it, send it to [email protected] with the role in the subject line.

Tell us which role you want, roughly how much experience you have, and your college registration number if the role needs one. We read everything. If there’s a fit we’ll reach out within a week.

    Why people stay here

Clinical protocols are set under physician oversight

Our Medical Director is Dr. John David Henneberry-Fudge, MD, FRCPC, a Royal College certified psychiatrist. His CPSO registration (#95972) is public and verifiable. He sets and reviews the clinical protocols, oversees how pre-injectable screening is done, and guides our adverse-event policy. The protocols you work to here were written under physician oversight rather than pieced together from whatever the last training course said.

Nobody will pressure you to treat someone you shouldn’t

We screen for Body Dysmorphic Disorder using validated instruments before lip filler, repeat Botox, and facial volumization. Having a psychiatrist as Medical Director isn’t a marketing line, it changes what happens in the room. If you decline a treatment on clinical grounds, that decision is backed, not second-guessed.

    You inject real product

We’re an authorized partner clinic for Allergan, Galderma, InMode, Aerolase, Aptos, Crown Aesthetics, SkinCeuticals, SkinBetter Science, NOON Aesthetics and Hale Derma. Product comes from authorized Canadian distributors with batch traceability logged at receipt, and cold chain is monitored end to end with recorded temperatures. No grey market, ever.

The room is built for medicine

46 Fort York Blvd was built as a medical aesthetic facility rather than converted from a salon. Treatment rooms meet Ontario IPAC standards, sharps are rotated daily, reusable instruments are autoclaved to Public Health Ontario guideline, and every room carries the full vascular occlusion emergency kit. Every injector runs drilled simulations on the protocol.

You build your own patient book

Our injectors are full-time and named on the site. Patients book with a person, not with a rotating pool, and they see the same face across their annual plan. That’s better for them and it’s better for you.

There’s someone here who trains injectors for a living

Shahram Mafazi has over twenty years in surgical and non-surgical aesthetics, holds a Professional Diploma in Dermatology from the Royal College of Physicians of Ireland, and works as an international trainer and faculty member with Aptos, Promoitalia and Medtronic. If you want to get better at threads and advanced filler work, he’s in the building.

    You get range

Aerolase Neo Elite, InMode Morpheus8, Forma and Body FX, Diolaze, Venus Concept, SkinPen, Procell, Salient, NaturaGel PRP/PRF, plus the full injectable and thread menu. You won’t be running one machine all day.

We hire for the team, not just the resume

We’re a small clinic and we spend a lot of hours together, so how somebody fits matters as much as what they can do. The people who last here treat this like a family rather than a shift they clock out of. Everybody pitches in and covers each other, and nobody thinks a job is beneath them. That goes for the owner too. If a room needs turning over between patients or something needs wiping down, whoever is closest handles it.

We’re also particular about clean. Clean treatment rooms, clean tools, clean stations, and turning up looking sharp yourself. Patients read a room the second they walk into it, and in a medical space that standard isn’t up for negotiation. If you take pride in how the place looks and how you show up, you’ll fit here.

    Questions people ask before applying

Do I need to already be certified to inject?

For the RN Injector role, yes, you need current CNO registration. For aesthetician and laser roles you need the relevant certification for the modality. For front desk and coordinator roles you don’t need a clinical background at all.

    Do you take students?

Through co-op placements, yes. We aren’t set up for general new-grad hiring outside a co-op program, so if you’re coming straight out of school that’s the route in. Tell us which school and which term you’re looking to place.

    What’s the interview like?

A conversation first, then for clinical roles a practical assessment so we can see how you work and you can see the room and the equipment. We’ll tell you who you’d be reporting to and you’ll meet them.

Do you keep resumes on file?

Yes. If the timing isn’t right we’ll hold onto it, and roles here open up with very little notice.

Can I apply if I’m outside Toronto?

Sure. We have staff who commute in. Just be realistic with yourself about the trip, since evening shifts run to 8pm.
