Vivier is a Canadian pharmaceutical skincare company, founded by pharmaceutical executive Jess Vivier and headquartered in Vaudreuil-Dorion, Quebec. Bar Beauty Medical is an authorized Vivier retailer, and we carry the complete Canadian consumer range: every Vitamin C serum, the GrenzCine polyamine line, retinols, moisturizers, mineral sunscreens and the bundled skin programs. Everything on this page is sold at Vivier’s own published Canadian retail price, in CAD, from our CityPlace clinic at 46 Fort York Blvd. This is the honest guide to what Vivier is, what it costs, and which products earn a place in a routine.

Bar Beauty Medical is an authorized Vivier retailer at 46 Fort York Blvd in CityPlace, downtown Toronto. Vivier is a Canadian pharmaceutical skincare company based in Vaudreuil-Dorion, Quebec, and we supply its full Canadian range, 49 products, at Vivier’s own published Canadian retail prices. It is a different company from Vivacy, the French manufacturer of the Stylage filler gels we inject; the two names get mixed up constantly, so here is the untangling.

Who Vivier is

Vivier Pharma Inc. tells its own founding story plainly. In 1997, Jess Vivier left a career in pharmaceuticals to develop skincare to a pharmaceutical standard, motivated by his wife Cindy’s search for products that actually did what they claimed. Three years of research later, in 2000, Vivier launched its first Vitamin C serum, built on stabilized L-Ascorbic Acid USP. The company states that this formulation showed four times greater retention in the dermis than leading serums of the day, delivered by its patented IntraDermal System, which Vivier abbreviates as IDS.

Twenty-five years on, the founder’s sons Mike and Steve Vivier lead the company, and the range has grown from one serum to a full catalogue organized by concern: brightening, firming, acne, redness, sun protection and post-procedure recovery. Vivier states that its products are developed and formulated in Canada, manufactured in Canadian facilities, and built on USP-grade ingredients, the purity standard used for pharmaceutical ingredients rather than the looser cosmetic grade. Those are Vivier’s claims about its own operations, and they are the reason the brand describes itself as pharmaceutical skincare rather than cosmeceutical marketing.

In 2017 Vivier introduced Polyamine-DAB, a proprietary growth-factor technology the company reports is clinically shown to support wound healing and improve the volume, density and texture of aging skin. Polyamine-DAB is the active platform behind the GrenzCine collection and the V-STAT repair gel. In 2025 the company added two flagship launches, Creme 47 and Serum 30, its highest-concentration Vitamin C at 30%.

Vivier and Vivacy are not the same company

Two brands at this clinic have names four letters apart, and they do completely different jobs. Vivier, this page, is Canadian skincare you take home in a bag. Laboratoires Vivacy is a French manufacturer of injectable hyaluronic acid fillers; its Stylage gels are one of the two filler families our injectors use most. If you searched for the serum brand your dermatologist mentioned, you want Vivier. If you searched for the filler your injector named, you want Vivacy. Both are real, both are here, and mixing them up is the single most common brand confusion we hear at the front desk.

Why we chose Vivier as our fifth retail brand

Our shelf already carries SkinCeuticals, skinbetter science, NOON Aesthetics and Hale Derma, so a fifth line had to add something the other four do not. Vivier adds three things. First, a Canadian option: it is the only brand on our shelf that is developed, formulated and manufactured in Canada, with the company an hour from Montreal. Second, range depth in Vitamin C: Vivier builds its serums on pharmaceutical-grade L-Ascorbic Acid USP at concentrations from 10% up to the 30% of Serum 30, so we can step a patient up or down without changing brands. Third, the GrenzCine polyamine line, a firming platform chemically unrelated to the retinoids and antioxidants the rest of the shelf leans on, which gives us somewhere to send skin that has plateaued on both.

We sell what we believe in, not what we are paid to place. Vivier earned the spot the same way the other four did: our team used it, patient results held up, and the company’s claims survived a read of its own published evidence rather than its advertising.

The science Vivier publishes, and how to read it

Three claims sit at the core of the brand, and all three are Vivier’s own, so we attribute them rather than repeat them as ours. The first is ingredient grade: Vivier states it formulates with USP-grade actives, including L-Ascorbic Acid USP, the same vitamin C specification used in pharmacy compounding. The second is delivery: the company’s IntraDermal System, patented in the early 2000s, is claimed to carry L-ascorbic acid into the dermis with four times the retention of comparison serums. The third is Polyamine-DAB, the 2017 growth-factor platform, which Vivier reports has clinical evidence behind wound-healing support and measurable improvement in skin volume, density and texture.

What we can add from the clinic side is narrower and more useful: Vivier’s vitamin C serums behave the way well-formulated L-ascorbic serums should. They are low-pH, they sting slightly on compromised skin, they oxidize if you leave the cap loose, and they pair cleanly under sunscreen in the morning. The GrenzCine products are cosmetically elegant for a functional line, which matters, because the serum nobody enjoys using is the serum nobody finishes.

The full Vivier range and what it costs in Canada

These are Vivier’s published Canadian retail prices, pulled from Vivier Pharma Canada’s own storefront on August 22, 2026, and they are the prices we sell at. Authorized retailers do not undercut the brand’s listed retail, which is exactly why a Vivier bottle priced far below these numbers should make you suspicious of the seller, not pleased with the deal. Our guide to authentic skincare explains how the authorized channel works and how to check a seller.

Which Vivier product suits which concern

The pairings below follow Vivier’s own positioning of each product, cross-checked against how our team actually uses the line. They are starting points, not prescriptions; the free consultation exists so nobody buys the wrong $200 serum.

  • Dullness and early sun damage. One vitamin C serum, every morning, on dry skin. C E Peptides is the workhorse; Serum 10 is the gentler entry; Radiance Serum adds glow-focused actives.
  • Stubborn pigment and uneven tone. Serum 30 is Vivier’s 30% concentration aimed at deeper pigment, and the two Brighten and Restore programs build a complete routine around it, in a 2% hydroquinone and a non-hydroquinone version. Pigment is chronic and managed, not cured, so pair product with our hyperpigmentation planning rather than expecting a bottle to finish the job alone.
  • Softness, laxity and crepey texture. The GrenzCine line, face, eye, neck, is the polyamine platform, and it is where we send skin that has already plateaued on retinol. GrenzCine Neck is one of the few dedicated neck products we rate at all.
  • Lines and texture with resilient skin. The three retinols run 0.3%, 0.5% and 1.0%, a clean laddering that makes it easy to start low and climb without switching brands.
  • Acne-prone and oily skin. Medicated Wash, Acne Treatment Lotion and the Acne Treatment System are the salicylic and benzoyl side of the line; for active acne, product supports treatment, it does not replace our acne treatment protocols.
  • Redness and reactive skin. Redness Solution Complex and the Sensitive Skin Program, alongside in-clinic work for rosacea.
  • Every skin, every day. The SHEER mineral sunscreens, SPF 30, SPF 30 tinted and SPF 45. If only one product from this page enters your routine, it should be a sunscreen.
  • Before and after procedures. V-STAT Advanced Repair Gel and the Intensive Hydrating Moisturizer are the post-procedure pairing we reach for after microneedling and peels, alongside the Hale Derma spray.

What Vivier products will and will not do

Topical skincare, Vivier included, improves the surface it can reach. A disciplined vitamin C and sunscreen routine brightens tone, softens early sun damage and protects the collagen you still have. Retinols improve texture and fine lines over months. What no cream does, from any brand at any price, is replace volume, lift a jawline, clear cystic acne alone, or erase a deep static wrinkle; those are jobs for injectables, energy devices or medical acne care. We sell Vivier as the daily half of a plan, not as a substitute for the clinical half, and we will tell you plainly at the consultation which half your concern actually needs.

How Vivier sits beside SkinCeuticals, skinbetter, NOON and Hale Derma

Five brands on one shelf is a curation, not a contest, and we will not pretend one line wins at everything. SkinCeuticals brings the deepest published antioxidant research; skinbetter science brings the AlphaRet retinoid chemistry; NOON Aesthetics brings DermShield and our in-clinic peel protocols; Hale Derma brings hypochlorous pre and post-care. Vivier’s lane beside them is Canadian manufacture, a wide L-Ascorbic USP concentration ladder, the GrenzCine polyamine platform, and complete bundled programs at a price most patients can actually start at. In practice a routine we build often crosses brands: a SkinCeuticals antioxidant in the morning, a Vivier retinol at night, a NOON peel in clinic, the Hale spray after. The brand matters less than the sequence, which is what the consultation sorts out.

Authenticity: why the authorized channel matters

Vivier’s own guidance to consumers is blunt: to ensure authenticity, efficacy and quality, buy only through its authorized partners, meaning the professional clinics on its locator and its own storefront. Bar Beauty Medical is on that authorized channel. Our stock is ordered directly through Vivier Pharma’s partner system, arrives at the clinic, and stays in the building until it goes home with you. No marketplace listings, no third-party fulfillment, no grey market. If you have a Vivier product bought elsewhere and want a second opinion on it, bring it in; our authentic skincare guide covers what diverted product looks like and why it is a real problem in this category.

How to start with Vivier at Bar Beauty Medical

Book the free consultation. We will look at your skin under the Salient analyzer, a skin analysis that is a $150 value and is free with your consultation, and build a routine that may be one Vivier product, a full program, or a mix across our five brands. Products are available at the clinic at 46 Fort York Blvd in CityPlace, with free pickup, and orders over $150 ship free anywhere in Canada from our shop. There are two free spots at the clinic, first come first served, so they are very limited. If both are taken, there is public parking beside the Sobeys at Fort York Blvd and Telegram Mews, a public lot that is not ours, so we do not validate it and rates are set by the operator.

Frequently asked questions

Where can I buy Vivier skincare in Toronto?

From an authorized Vivier partner. Bar Beauty Medical is an authorized Vivier retailer at 46 Fort York Blvd, CityPlace, downtown Toronto, steps from the Gardiner and a short walk from Union Station. We carry the full Canadian range in clinic and through our online shop, with free pickup at the clinic and free shipping on orders over $150.

Is Bar Beauty Medical an authorized Vivier retailer?

Yes. We became a Vivier authorized retailer in August 2026, and our stock comes directly through Vivier Pharma’s partner ordering system rather than any third-party seller. Vivier itself tells consumers to buy only through authorized partners, and that is the channel we are on.

Is Vivier a Canadian company?

Yes. Vivier Pharma Inc. is headquartered in Vaudreuil-Dorion, Quebec, and states that its products are developed, formulated and manufactured in Canada. It is the only brand on our shelf that is Canadian end to end, which also means no exchange-rate surprises: Canadian retail prices are set in CAD by the company itself.

Is Vivier the same as Vivacy?

No. Vivier is a Canadian skincare company; Laboratoires Vivacy is a French manufacturer of injectable Stylage fillers. We work with both, which is exactly why the confusion matters here: Vivier goes home in a bag, Vivacy is placed by an injector during a filler appointment.

Which Vivier vitamin C serum should I start with?

Most first-time users do well on C E Peptides ($222), Vivier’s combination of 10% L-Ascorbic Acid USP with vitamin E and peptides. Serum 10 ($130) is the gentler entry for reactive skin, and Serum 30 ($220) is the 30% concentration Vivier aims at stubborn pigment. The honest answer depends on your skin barrier, which is what the free consultation is for.

What is GrenzCine and who is it for?

GrenzCine is Vivier’s firming line built on Polyamine-DAB, a growth-factor technology the company introduced in 2017 and reports is clinically shown to improve volume, density and texture of aging skin. We reach for it when mature or thinning skin has plateaued on retinoids and antioxidants, and the neck and eye versions are the standouts.

Do your Vivier prices match Vivier’s own website?

Yes, to the dollar. Authorized retailers sell at the brand’s published Canadian retail, so the price on vivierskin.ca is the price at our clinic. We checked every product on this page against Vivier Pharma Canada’s storefront on August 22, 2026. A seller far below that number is the red flag our authenticity guide exists for.

Are the Vivier programs worth it over single products?

If the routine fits your skin, yes. The programs bundle a full routine below the price of the same items bought separately; Vivier lists the Advanced Anti-Aging Program at $672 against a stated component value of $974. The risk is buying a $600 box for a routine your skin does not need, which is why we suggest the free consultation first.

Can I use Vivier during pregnancy?

Bring the products to your consultation and tell your prenatal care provider. As a general rule the retinols and the 2% hydroquinone program are set aside during pregnancy and nursing, while gentle cleansers, hydrators and mineral sunscreens usually carry on. We will map your routine product by product rather than guessing.

Does Vivier replace SkinCeuticals or skinbetter science on your shelf?

No. All five retail brands stay, because they solve different problems. Vivier adds Canadian manufacture, a wide vitamin C concentration ladder and the GrenzCine polyamine platform; it does not make the AlphaRet retinoid or the SkinCeuticals antioxidant library redundant, and plenty of routines we build use two or three brands at once.

Do you ship Vivier or is it pickup only?

Both. Free pickup at 46 Fort York Blvd in CityPlace, or shipping across Canada, free on orders over $150. Everything ships from the clinic itself, from the same climate-controlled stock we dispense in person.
