What Exfoliant Forte does
Vivier lists three benefits: the advanced AHA blend exfoliates to remove dull, dead surface skin cells and refine texture, it helps improve skin tone, texture and smoothness, and it promotes a clearer, brighter, more radiant-looking complexion.
Key ingredients
Vivier lists glycolic acid, lactic acid and urea. Glycolic and lactic are the two AHAs most commonly used for surface renewal, and urea contributes to softening.
Who it suits
Skin that looks dull and feels rough, and people who prefer acids to retinol. Vivier includes it in both Brighten and Restore programs as the morning exfoliating step.
How to use it
A thin layer to face, neck and chest, once or twice daily. Vivier advises avoiding AHA products in the same routine as retinol. Daily sunscreen matters more, not less, when you are exfoliating.
How it fits with your treatments at Bar Beauty
Acids come out of the routine before resurfacing appointments and go back in once the skin has settled. We will give you the dates rather than a vague instruction.
