By Basil Russo, Founder, Bar Beauty Medical, 46 Fort York Blvd, CityPlace Toronto
Lawrence Park runs on the Yonge subway line, with the school circuit around Havergal, LPCI and Blythwood Ravine. Bar Beauty Medical is not in Lawrence Park. We are one clinic at 46 Fort York Blvd in CityPlace, and we serve Lawrence Park clients who would rather come to a downtown medical aesthetics clinic than drive up to Yorkville for injectables.
This page is the honest version of what we do, who we are, and how to reach us from your block. Bar Beauty Medical is a Toronto medical aesthetics clinic. Our Medical Director is Dr. John David Henneberry-Fudge, MD, FRCPC (CPSO #95972). Day to day your injector is Shahram, our Master Injector, Jasmine, our RN injector, or Julia, our Glow Specialist.

Treatments Lawrence Park clients book at Bar Beauty Medical
Lawrence Park clients, established families and school-circuit households, tend to ask for the same handful of services. Here is the realistic short list.
- Botox, Dysport and Nuceiva for the forehead, glabella, crow’s feet and the masseter (jaw slimming). Many clients in their thirties run roughly 30 to 50 units across a standard upper face, with lower face and masseter as add-ons.
- Lip filler with Stylage or Stylage. Conservative volume, a smooth border, no duck pout.
- Dermal filler for cheeks, jawline and chin, plus filler correction with hyaluronidase when earlier work needs dissolving.
- Aerolase NeoSkin laser for redness, melasma, post-acne pigment and a pre-event glow. This is one of our most requested pre-wedding treatments.
- Morpheus 8 radiofrequency microneedling for jawline definition, the sub-mental area and acne scar revision.
- Under-eye PRF for tired under-eyes that filler alone cannot fix.
For everything we offer and what each treatment costs, see our price list.

Why Lawrence Park clients choose Bar Beauty Medical
Three things bring Lawrence Park clients across town to CityPlace.
- A named MD on the masthead. Dr. Henneberry-Fudge is listed by name with a CPSO number you can verify on the public register, not an unnamed “medical director on call.”
- Pricing you can read before you book. Our full price list is online. If a clinic will not show you a price before you walk in, the price is whatever they think you will pay.
- A real chart system. We run on Jane App, with written treatment plans, written aftercare and a follow-up message after every injectable visit.
We also keep a restrained house style. Small doses, conservative volume, natural movement preserved. The compliment our clients hear most is “you look rested,” not “you look like you had work done.”
What a first appointment looks like
- Online intake before you arrive through our Jane App. Medical history, medication list, photo consent.
- Free consult. About twenty minutes with your injector. We map your face and talk through what is, and is not, appropriate.
- Plan in writing. Before anything is injected, you get a written treatment plan with product and dose. You decide whether to proceed that day.
- Treatment. Most injectable visits run 15 to 30 minutes. Aerolase and Morpheus 8 run 45 to 60.
- Aftercare in hand. Written aftercare, a follow-up message, and a free two-week Botox touch-up if you need it, as long as no promotion was applied to the original treatment.
No pressure to add four other treatments. For prices, see our price list.
Getting to Bar Beauty Medical from Lawrence Park
By car. From Lawrence Park, take Mount Pleasant Road or Yonge Street south, pick up the DVP and the Gardiner, then exit toward Bathurst or Spadina for Fort York Blvd. Off-peak the drive is roughly 25 minutes; add time during Gardiner and Lake Shore rush hours. The clinic is on the ground floor and shares its entrance with the residential lobby.
By transit. Take Line 1 (Yonge) south from Lawrence Station to Spadina or St Andrew, then a 509 or 510 streetcar down toward Fort York and CityPlace. The Bathurst and Spadina streetcars both stop within a short walk of 46 Fort York Blvd.
Parking. CityPlace is a dense condo neighbourhood. There is paid parking nearby, and most clients who drive use the area lots or street parking and walk a few minutes to the door.
Accessibility. Ground-floor entrance, no stairs, wide treatment rooms.
Who runs my appointment
Day to day, your injector is one of three people.
- Shahram, our Master Injector. Shahram is a non-physician advanced injector. He is never addressed as “Dr.” and we never imply otherwise.
- Jasmine, our RN injector, certified across the three toxin brands we carry: Botox, Dysport and Nuceiva.
- Julia, our Glow Specialist, who handles Aerolase, Morpheus 8, facials and peels.
Dr. Henneberry-Fudge is our Medical Director. If a case falls outside what an RN or Master Injector can clear, the medical-director protocol applies.
FAQ, questions Lawrence Park clients ask
Is there a Bar Beauty clinic closer to Lawrence Park?
No. We operate one clinic, at 46 Fort York Blvd in CityPlace. Keeping everything in one location keeps the medical oversight tight.
How long does the drive from Lawrence Park take?
Roughly 25 minutes off-peak, more during rush hour. Many Lawrence Park clients book a late-morning or mid-afternoon slot to miss both rushes.
Do I need a referral or doctor’s note?
No. Medical aesthetics in Ontario do not require a referral. You can book yourself on Jane tonight. We screen for medical contraindications during your consult.
What if I’ve had bad filler somewhere else?
You are not the first. We use hyaluronidase to dissolve overfilled or migrated HA filler, then rebuild conservatively if you want. Read our dermal filler page for more.
How does your pricing compare to a Lawrence Park-area clinic?
We publish every price so you can compare for yourself. See our price list. The product, the certification and the medical oversight are what matter, not the postcode on the door.
Do you take walk-ins from Lawrence Park?
We try, but we run on a booked schedule. Walk-ins suit product pick-ups and brief touch-ups. For Botox or filler, book on Jane.
Do you offer evening or weekend appointments?
Yes. We book through 7 PM on weekdays and run Saturdays. We are closed Sunday and Monday.
How long do Botox and filler results last?
Botox runs about 3 to 4 months for most people. Lip filler runs 9 to 18 months depending on product and metabolism. Cheek filler can run 12 to 24 months. Aerolase results build over a series.
Is treatment safe for darker skin tones (Fitzpatrick IV to VI)?
For most of what we offer, yes. Aerolase NeoElite at 1064 nm is safe across all phototypes and is our default for vascular and pigment work in darker skin. Injectables are equally safe across phototypes. Morpheus 8 carries a small post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation risk in Fitzpatrick V to VI that we manage with conservative settings.
Can I have treatment while breastfeeding?
Generally no for injectables, with rare exceptions discussed in your consult, because the published safety data in breastfeeding is sparse. Most clients return three to six months after weaning. Laser and most facials are fine throughout nursing.
Can I have treatment if I am on Ozempic or another GLP-1 medication?
Yes, but planning matters. Significant weight loss redistributes facial fat over six to twelve months, so we stage filler and biostimulator decisions for clients in active weight loss. Toxin and laser work are unaffected.
How do I cancel or reschedule?
Through Jane up to 24 hours before. Same-day cancellations forfeit the deposit per our published policy.
How to book
Book online on Jane anytime, or call 416-923-1200 between 10 AM and 7 PM, Tuesday through Saturday. Questions by email go to info@barbeauty.ca.
