Aerolase NeoSkin and laser treatment for spider veins, broken capillaries, rosacea redness, and vascular lesions — safe for all skin tones.
What we treat
Spider veins on cheeks and nose (telangiectasias), broken capillaries, rosacea, port-wine stains, cherry angiomas, leg spider veins, and visible vascular lesions on the body. We use the Aerolase NeoSkin 1064nm laser primarily — it targets oxyhemoglobin in the unwanted blood vessel and collapses it without affecting surrounding skin or pigment.
Why Aerolase for vascular work
Most vascular lasers (PDL, KTP) work well on light skin but carry pigment risk on Fitzpatrick IV to VI. Aerolase’s 650-microsecond pulse and 1064nm wavelength bypass melanin and target hemoglobin selectively. That makes it one of the few vascular lasers safe across all skin tones — especially important in a Toronto clinic that serves a diverse patient mix.
Sessions and results
Most facial vascular work clears in 1 to 3 sessions spaced 4 weeks apart. Rosacea redness softens steadily across a course of 4 to 6 sessions. Leg veins typically need more sessions and respond better when combined with sclerotherapy at a vein clinic — we’ll refer you out if your case calls for it.
Recovery
Expect mild redness or “warm” feeling for an hour. Treated vessels look slightly darker for a few days as they’re absorbed. No downtime. Sunscreen is mandatory for two weeks after to prevent post-inflammatory pigmentation.
Cherry angiomas, telangiectasias, and small lesions
These respond exceptionally well — usually one to two pulses per lesion, single session for clearance on small ones. We can clear dozens in a single 30-minute appointment. Comes with our Aerolase NeoSkin Custom Facial if you want it bundled with full-face tone work.
