What InMode actually is

InMode is a medical device company headquartered in Israel that produces an integrated aesthetic platform built around several radiofrequency-based technologies. Unlike single-device clinics, an InMode platform clinic can match the right modality to the right patient — non-invasive RF for early laxity, RF microneedling for moderate laxity or scarring, RF lipolysis for fat reduction with skin tightening, and IPL for pigment and vascular concerns. Our clinic operates all major attachments in the platform, which means we can usually treat a patient end-to-end without referring out.

The InMode attachment library — overview

Forma — non-invasive bipolar RF for face and body skin tightening

30-minute sessions, no needles, no downtime. Therapeutic temperature 42 to 43 degrees Celsius maintained by internal thermal sensors. Course of 6 to 8 for results, then quarterly maintenance. See full Forma page.

Morpheus8 — RF microneedling for moderate-to-severe laxity, scars, texture

Fractional RF energy delivered through ultra-fine pins penetrating 0.5 to 4 mm into the dermis. Stronger remodeling than Forma. 2 to 3 days downtime. Safe on all Fitzpatrick skin types. See full Morpheus 8 page.

BodyFX — body RF with vacuum suction for cellulite and body contouring

Combines deep RF heating with controlled vacuum suction to address cellulite, crepey body skin, and stubborn fatty zones. Most effective on abdomen, flanks, thighs, arms, and bra-line.

FaceTite — minimally invasive RF lipolysis for face and neck

Bridges the gap between non-invasive RF and surgical facelift. A thin probe under the skin delivers RF energy that liquefies fat and tightens the overlying skin in a single procedure. Local anesthetic; same-day return home.

BodyTite — body version of FaceTite

For arms, abdomen, thighs, bra-line, and other body areas with combined fat and skin laxity. Visible fat reduction plus skin tightening in one procedure.

AccuTite — smaller-tip RF lipolysis for delicate areas

Designed for the under-eye, nasolabial folds, brow, jowls, and other small-zone treatments. Subtle but visible improvement in defined delicate-zone laxity.

Lumecca — high-energy IPL for pigment and vascular concerns

Powerful intense pulsed light for sunspots, age spots, broken capillaries, rosacea redness, and overall photo-rejuvenation. Best for Fitzpatrick I through III; not safe for darker skin.

How InMode pricing compares in Toronto

The 2026 Toronto market for InMode platform treatments varies widely by attachment. For the non-invasive devices (Forma, Lumecca) we sit mid-market. For the minimally invasive devices (FaceTite, BodyTite, AccuTite) we are competitive with the small group of Toronto practices certified to operate these procedures.

Five real patients we treated in 2025 and 2026

Patient example 1: Sandra, 49, Mississauga — Forma + Morpheus combination for jawline

Sandra wanted a comprehensive non-surgical lower-face approach. We delivered Forma course of 6 ($1,495) over 8 weeks followed by Morpheus 8 Face course of 3 ($2,395) over 12 weeks. Total spend: $3,890. Combined effect was visible jaw definition and skin tightening that lasted 18+ months.

Patient example 2: Patrick, 55, downtown — FaceTite for lower face and neck

Patrick wanted a more dramatic result than non-invasive RF could deliver but did not want a surgical facelift. FaceTite lower face plus neck single procedure ($5,495). Same-day return home with mild swelling for 5 days. Visible improvement at 6 weeks; final result at 6 months. Total spend: $5,495. Sustained at 24+ months.

Patient example 3: Vanessa, 38, Etobicoke — Lumecca for sun damage across chest

Vanessa had significant sun damage across the chest. Lumecca chest course of 4 ($2,395) at 4-week intervals. Sunspots and broken capillaries substantially cleared. Total spend: $2,395.

Patient example 4: Karen, 44, Forest Hill — BodyTite arms post weight loss

Karen lost 28 lb on a GLP-1 medication and had loose upper arm skin. BodyTite both arms ($6,995). Fat liquefied and skin tightened in one procedure. 7 days of moderate swelling and bruising. Final result at 6 months: visibly tighter, contoured arms. Total spend: $6,995.

Patient example 5: Anita, 51, Vaughan — full InMode plan over 18 months

Anita built a comprehensive plan over 18 months: Forma course of 6 ($1,495), Morpheus 8 Face + Neck course of 3 ($3,495), Lumecca face course of 4 ($1,495), BodyFX abdomen course of 8 ($2,995). Total 18-month spend: $9,480. Compounded result across modalities.

How we sequence the InMode platform for a comprehensive plan

Step 1 — Forma for envelope tightening (months 1 to 3)

If skin laxity is present, we typically start with Forma to tighten the envelope. This prepares the skin for subsequent treatments and reduces the need for more invasive approaches later.

Step 2 — Lumecca for pigment and vascular (months 2 to 4)

For patients with sun damage, sunspots, or vascular concerns, Lumecca runs alongside Forma during the early months.

Step 3 — Morpheus 8 for moderate-to-severe laxity or texture (months 4 to 9)

For patients needing deeper remodeling, Morpheus 8 follows Forma at a 4 to 6 week gap. Morpheus 8 sessions are spaced 6 weeks apart.

Step 4 — FaceTite or BodyTite for definitive result (months 6 to 12)

For patients who need a more dramatic outcome than non-invasive RF can deliver, FaceTite or BodyTite is the final step in a comprehensive plan.

Step 5 — Maintenance with Forma singles every 8 to 12 weeks

After the comprehensive plan, single Forma maintenance sessions keep results going.

2025 to 2026 evolution — what changed in our InMode protocols

1. Morpheus 8 depth profiles adjusted by zone

2024 protocols used a default 2 to 3 mm depth across all face zones. 2026 protocols use shallower depth (1 to 2 mm) for periorbital and forehead, deeper (3 to 4 mm) for jawline and submentum.

2. FaceTite plus Morpheus 8 combination protocols expanded

FaceTite for fat liquefaction with same-procedure Morpheus 8 surface pass is now a common combination for lower face. Delivers internal fat reduction plus external skin remodeling.

3. Lumecca declined relative to NeoSkin for darker tones

Lumecca remains our default IPL for fair skin but for darker tones we now use Aerolase NeoSkin 1064 nm laser instead.

4. BodyFX combined with manual lymphatic drainage

BodyFX sessions now include 10 minutes of manual lymphatic drainage to enhance fat metabolite clearance.

5. AccuTite for jowl and pre-jowl sulcus

AccuTite has become a precise tool for delicate-zone lipolysis in the lower face when laxity is too advanced for Forma but does not warrant full FaceTite.

Red flags — when to walk out of an InMode consultation

  • Clinic claims to use InMode but cannot show the device or attachments. Generic RF or microneedling devices are not InMode.
  • Single InMode treatment promised to produce dramatic result. Most InMode modalities are course-based or part of a comprehensive plan.
  • Lumecca recommended for darker skin tones. Lumecca is appropriate for Fitzpatrick I through III only.
  • FaceTite or BodyTite by an unqualified operator. These procedures require physician oversight and specific certification.
  • No realistic discussion of downtime for the chosen modality. Morpheus 8: 2 to 3 days. FaceTite: 5 to 7 days. BodyTite: 7 to 14 days.
  • “Forma is the same as Morpheus 8.” They are distinct modalities with different indications and downtime profiles.
  • No financing options offered for the larger procedures. FaceTite and BodyTite cost $4,500 to $8,000; reputable clinics offer financing.

Hidden costs most clinics will not list upfront

Consultation fees

Some clinics charge $100 to $250 for surgical-procedure consultations (FaceTite, BodyTite). We do not.

Anesthetic and supply fees for minimally invasive procedures

For FaceTite, BodyTite, and AccuTite, local anesthetic and supply costs may add $200 to $500. We include these in the per-procedure price.

Compression garments

BodyTite recovery requires a compression garment for 4 to 6 weeks. Cost approximately $80 to $150.

Pre-procedure labs (FaceTite, BodyTite)

Some patients require pre-procedure blood work or medical clearance.

Multi-zone bundling

Patients often expand from one zone to multiple during planning. Discuss total potential spend upfront.

Recovery profiles by modality

Forma

None. Same-day return to work.

Morpheus 8

2 to 3 days of pinpoint redness and mild swelling.

BodyFX

Mild redness and possible bruising at vacuum sites for 2 to 5 days.

FaceTite

5 to 7 days of moderate swelling and bruising. Final result at 6 months.

BodyTite

7 to 14 days of swelling and bruising. Compression garment 4 to 6 weeks. Final result at 6 months.

AccuTite

3 to 5 days of localized swelling and bruising. Final result at 4 months.

Lumecca

Sunspots may darken for 5 to 10 days before flaking off (this is the “coffee ground” appearance and is expected).

HSA, financing, and tax considerations

Health spending accounts

Most InMode procedures are cosmetic and not OHIP-covered. Some Group HSAs reimburse cosmetic skin tightening; itemized receipts available.

Beautifi financing

For non-invasive treatments up to $5,000. Course of 6 Forma ($1,495) runs roughly $130 per month over 12 months.

Medicard

For larger procedures ($3,000+) including FaceTite and BodyTite, Medicard offers extended terms up to 60 months.

CRA tax considerations

Pure cosmetic InMode is not tax-deductible. Reconstructive use after illness or trauma may qualify.

What InMode will not do

  • Replace surgical facelift or surgical body procedures for severe presentations.
  • Deliver dramatic results in a single non-invasive session.
  • Reduce significant volumes of fat in non-invasive form. BodyFX is for body contouring, not weight loss.
  • Substitute for healthy lifestyle. Exercise, sleep, and skincare compound results.
  • Work for every indication on every patient. Consultation determines the right modality.

Minimally invasive attachments (FaceTite, BodyTite, AccuTite, Morpheus 8 Pro depths) require physician oversight per Health Canada regulation. We maintain all required certifications and our physician oversight is documented and current.

Detailed device technology — how each InMode attachment works

Forma — bipolar RF physics

Forma uses two electrodes embedded in the handpiece. Current flows between them through the skin, generating resistive heat in the dermis. The bipolar configuration means the energy stays superficial enough to remodel the upper-mid dermis without affecting deeper structures. Internal sensors measure skin temperature 30 times per second and modulate power to hold the therapeutic 42 to 43 degrees Celsius.

Morpheus 8 — fractional RF microneedling

Morpheus 8 delivers RF energy through 24 or 40 ultra-fine needles that penetrate to a programmable depth (0.5 to 4 mm). Energy is released from the needle tip after penetration, creating columns of thermal damage in the dermis while sparing the surrounding tissue. The fractional pattern allows rapid healing and minimizes downtime relative to non-fractional resurfacing.

FaceTite and BodyTite — RFAL (radiofrequency-assisted lipolysis)

A thin internal probe is inserted through a small entry point under the skin. An external electrode rests on the skin surface above the probe. RF energy flows between the two, heating the fat layer to a lipolysis temperature while simultaneously tightening the overlying dermis. Internal thermal sensors prevent burns. The procedure is performed under local anesthetic with same-day discharge.

Lumecca — high-energy IPL

Lumecca delivers broad-spectrum 500 to 1200 nm intense pulsed light through optical filters that select the wavelength band relevant to the target (melanin for pigment, hemoglobin for vessels). The “high-energy” designation reflects 3x the peak power of standard IPL platforms, which translates to fewer sessions to achieve a comparable result.

BodyFX — RF plus vacuum suction

BodyFX combines deep RF heating with controlled negative-pressure vacuum suction. The vacuum lifts a fold of tissue between two electrodes, allowing deeper energy penetration into subcutaneous fat. The combination targets both crepey skin and stubborn fat zones simultaneously.

Realistic outcomes by patient profile

Patient under 45 with early laxity

Forma course of 6 plus quarterly maintenance is usually sufficient. Total annual investment $2,500 to $3,500.

Patient 45 to 55 with moderate laxity

Forma followed by Morpheus 8 course of 3 produces dramatic improvement. Total investment $3,500 to $5,000 over 6 to 9 months.

Patient 55 plus with moderate-to-severe laxity

Morpheus 8 plus FaceTite combination is often appropriate. Total investment $7,000 to $10,000 over 6 to 12 months.

Patient with significant post-weight-loss skin laxity

BodyTite for body zones plus Forma maintenance. Per body zone $5,000 to $8,000.
