Description
LHA Toner is a targeted exfoliating toner for combination and oily skin that is also prone to breakouts. It combines three exfoliating acids, lipo-hydroxy acid, glycolic acid, and salicylic acid, at a low pH to remove residue and surface cells, unclog pores, and reveal brighter, more even, refined skin.

What LHA Toner does
This is the stronger of our two SkinCeuticals toners. Where the Equalizing Toner is a gentle daily refresh, LHA Toner is a more active exfoliant aimed at congestion and texture. The triple-acid blend clears pores, smooths rough or uneven skin, and brightens, making it well suited to oily, blemish-prone skin that also wants anti-aging benefit.
The ingredients, and why they matter
Lipo-hydroxy acid exfoliates evenly and refines pores, salicylic acid clears congestion inside the pore, and glycolic acid resurfaces and brightens. The low pH is what makes the acids efficient, so a little goes a long way.
Who it is for
Combination, oily, and breakout-prone skin, especially adult skin that is both congested and showing early aging. If your skin is dry or sensitive, the gentler Equalizing Toner is the better choice.
How to use it
After cleansing, apply with a cotton pad, then follow with serums and moisturizer. Build up frequency gradually and always use daily sunscreen, since the acids increase sun sensitivity.
How it fits with your treatments at Bar Beauty
It keeps congestion and texture in check between clarifying and resurfacing treatments. Pause it around in-clinic resurfacing and restart once healed; we will set the timing. See more medical-grade skincare.

Frequently asked questions
What does LHA Toner do that my cleanser does not?
It finishes the job after cleansing, removing residue and dead surface cells with three exfoliating acids, lipo hydroxy acid, glycolic acid, and salicylic acid, at a low pH. Pores unclog, tone evens, and skin looks more refined.
Is LHA Toner right for my skin type?
It is aimed at combination and oily skin that is prone to breakouts. It is the stronger of our two SkinCeuticals toners, so drier or more sensitive skin usually belongs with Equalizing Toner instead.
How often can I use it?
Start once daily or alternate days and see how your skin responds, backing off if you feel over exfoliated, especially if acids appear elsewhere in your routine. Morning sunscreen is essential alongside it.
Where can I buy LHA Toner in Toronto?
At Bar Beauty Medical, 46 Fort York Blvd in CityPlace, downtown Toronto. Order online with Canada wide shipping or choose local pickup and collect it at the clinic.
Can you check whether my routine has too many acids?
Yes, bring or list everything you use at the free skincare consultation and we will audit it. Over exfoliation is one of the most common problems we untangle, and the fix is usually subtraction, not another purchase.
